Do you remember Tokusatsu Gagaga? Or some of the Super Sentai Warriors were high school students? Well, this new television series during the COVID-19 Pandemic's New Normal Period will definitely make a tribute to Super Sentai! If you can't stand Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, well, here's a different and alternative version of the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai Series:

The evil villains called Majin (Demons not Mashins; Kiramager of 2020, anyone?) have taken over the human population of Earth. The students of Gosei Academy High School (Gotcha, Goseiger of 2010!) see this as a threat to the human society and so, they, being the Himitsu Sentai GoRanger (1975 Super Sentai Series) Otaku, have to fight back and save them and the Earth from this evil foe. But how will they do it?

Here is the cast of this upcoming television program series:

Taishou Iwaki as Taisei Manaka (Color: Red)
Taisei is a 3rd year high school student, who is the head of the self-titled "School Defense Club". He's the no. 1's GoRanger Otaku in and out of the school. His father, also a GoRanger Otaku, died 10 years ago. Upon the Student Council President, Hyuma Oura's decree, he hurriedly tries to gather club members outside of himself unless his club would be disbanded, just like any Super Sentai Teams of the past. He's a mood-maker of the group (Who wants Sayo Oharu/KiramaiPink, huh?), and he has a personality that promotes friendship and unity, and a desire to get along with the people.

Ryuuga Satou as Ryuuhei Domon (Color: Yellow)
Ryuuhei is also a 3rd year high school student at the same school and he's the most individual athlete individual in that campus. He's one of the members of the Basketball Club. A sportsman with a kind heart and a lot of strength, he is popular with other male students. Taisei seeks him out to join the Defense Club because, "out of everyone in the school, he looks the most suited for eating Curry.". (Daita Ooiwa/KiRanger I could've been proud of this boy! Unfortunately, Baku Hatakeyama committed suicide 43 years ago.) However, he is actually living his life in destitution, cause by a certain event... Oh, and by the way, his surname is named after Domon/TimeYellow.

Yuuto Nasu as Yuusuke Takigawa (Color: Blue)
Yuusuke boasts being the highest test scorer in the school, as well as being the ace pitcher of the Baseball Team. A keen mind with a cool personality, he has trouble making choices toward his goals because of his logic. (Tell that to Mr. Shun Namiki/MegaBlue, boy!) One side of him despises crowds while the other loves being surrounded by his friends.

Hidaka Ukisho as Hyuma Oura (Color: Silver)
Hyuma has been the Student Council President for 3 years running, and no doubt he's the most charismatic student at the academy. With his looks and his eloquent manner of speech, he has garnered an enormous amount of support from the student body. However, there is also a sense of solitude from him where he keeps to the shadows. He has a strong bond with the Headmaster, Sumitomo.

Naoki Fujii as Naoya Morimura (Color: Green)
Naoya is the most popular student in the school and also, the captain of the dance team. He is the boy who "puts everything into parenthesis" and is the envy of male and female students alike. (Discrimination?) His parents are on assignment abroad and he lives in a relative's house with his sister, Hana Morimura. Talk about adoption!

Issei Kanasashi as Ichika Sakurai (Color: Pink)
Ichika (no, not that Ichika Osaki of Ryusoulger) is the 2nd year student of the same school the 3rd year students are also studying, but in a different room. He boasts having the "most aesthetic sense" among the school and is a popular student illustrator, just like Juuru Atsuta/KiramaiRed. While he belongs to the Art Club at school, he also part times at a nearby tea shop named Gon, a reference to Snack Gon in GoRanger. He is in the same class as Naoya's sister Hana and they are best friends.

Tomokazu Seki as the voice of Tsuyoshi Kaijou/AkaRanger
Taisei shares a certain "fate" with Mr. Kaijou and the other GoRanger Team members who were once the members of EAGLE in the mid-1970's and he will appear to encourage him at times.

All of these characters, except Hyuma, have their assigned colors based on the 1975 Super Sentai Series Team, but who will be the villains of Majin? Let's find more in the coming days and weeks ahead. Sorry, girl students! You're not in the boys' room!

Oh, and by the way, the actors, who are also the members of Johnny's JR, will sing the theme song of "The High School Heroes"!
