That's the thing though: Zenkaiger is also a notable slow-down from recent lines -- when you look at Kiramager and Ryusoulger we are getting way less real releases from Zenkaiger; even the Sentai Gears are relegated to candy toys and gashapon. The show itself is also notably low-budget, which is to the creators' credit with how insanely creative they've been getting with it. And I mean, this makes sense; despite being an anniversary Sentai has slowed down in sales a lot lately, so I figured this was a combination of a lower budget and trying out a new sales strategy. But for Kamen Rider...?

Boiled down, we've got 2 belts (with figures confirming only one user each), 9 auxiliary form items (if they even all get used for forms), 2 weapons, 1 phone bike, 1 storage item, 1 upgrade. When I took another look at the list again this is actually a little beyond what seasons like Ghost and Drive had, but it's still a lot less stuff than what we've got recently given Reiwa's insane deluge of henshin devices. All this despite Kamen Rider as a toy franchise only doing better and better in the sales department...
