Reading a bit more into it, seems like Takahashi wanted Hasegawa and Sugihara's set up and keep it that way. And withdrew Fukuda from the crew and work on the V-Cin.

Is it okay to say I kinda want Takahashi off of Fukuda's back?
Like, I really want Fukuda on the main chair for most, if not, all of the season.
