I'm sick of it seeing it in media entertainment, it loses it's value and just following a cheap trend and tokenism just to feel good about yourself. I don't need to kiss up to this stuff to fell like a better person, when I'm confident in myself and right and wrong.

It's not a cheap trend. Representation matters. It's saying (finally) that anyone can be a Power Ranger regardless of who you love.

No one is sucking up to anyone, they're just making it so it include *everyone.*
