I'm trying to find the words to voice the frustration I have towards people who are trying to say that people like me showing up in media is a 'political stance', but it fails me for the moment. It's just... insulting to even suggest that. On the most basic level.

Again, and this bears repeating. Having LGTBQ representation in Power Rangers is not an agenda, it's not political. It doesn't matter what you think about it, because the people in charge signed off on it after nearly 30 years. In addition, kids who watch Power Rangers are starting to feel a certain way about others. That's what a "crush" is. It doesn't necessarily mean it's sexual in nature.

And, Power Rangers has its adult LGBTQ fans and just people who aren't gay in the least and are happy to see representation.

So, maybe y'all can stop making it political and let us have this moment.
