We expected a contract scene to be the first of the ep and we got it, except we didn't. well played. They know what they're doing.

I didn't expect we would have a first look at our second driver so early though. Not fan of the design, but it might be a prototype or something at this point.

During the first half of the episode I was planning to complain about the deadmans. Because I don't want to see a trio of "do nothing with no background" (except distributing stamps) like we had last year with Megiddos.
The fact Julio appeared long in the battle scene made me less upset about it. But the feeling is still here.
I'm wondering how he knew Ikki's sister was one of the two hostage girl though. That's not exactly obvious or I missed something maybe. Maybe deadmans are linked to the Igarashi family somehow and know their bond naturally.


Small detail, but around 3:00 and 5:20 the soundtrack in the background really looks like one of the Zero-One Soundtrack. Obviously it's not it but the style and the way it sounds is very similar.


Also about the next week ep and this ep cliffhanger. Is this supposed to mean that Ayaka girl is the hooded person and gave the vistamp to the guy ? But then the guy took Ayaka hostage ?
Makes no sense to me, except if the real target was Sakura, but okay. Hope next week can clarify.
