They won't survive a young child, too many small and fragile parts, but as an adult I think build quality is comparable to Marvel Legends and stuff. Only difference is the articulation works a lot smoother because the figures are made with a higher budget, and the plastic is much better.

You have to use force to swap parts, but I haven't broken a single one yet. If you ever swapped a part on a figure that was connected via a balljoint you know the drill.

Can’t hurt to be a bit more careful though, especially if you haven't handled a Figuart yet, but as soon as you have it in hand for a few minutes you’ll get the idea.
