Yeah, the Engines can be projected as holograms from the Morphers as small cartoonish avatars. If Donbrothers has the same simple CGI for the animals, then I think it would be probably be cheap enough for Toei to produce with consistent quality, while saving money on physical and suit actors who would only need to participate in fights.
