Man, it's super unfortunate if you can't find a way to watch Shinkenger with Over-Time's subs. I remember constantly feeling like those were such a high quality labor of love on their part while I was going through the show, and that alone made me glad I waited as long as I did to watch it.

Yeah, I mean, as someone who took a bit to come around on Gingaman, I can't pretend I'm above failing to see the value in a deliberately straightforward Sentai, but at the same time, it really does just seem like Goseiger deserves more credit than it gets? Hopefully we'll both make the time to find out some day!

From what I've read, the behind the scenes trouble probably wasn't as drastic as this makes it sound? Gou Wakamastsu was functionally the co-chief producer from the start, to the point that it was apparently his idea to make Nagaishi the pilot director, and on that note, I mean, even if this was a more drastic case than usual, these shows get bounced between a lot of directors anyway? For all the mean things I've seen said about Goseiger, I don't think a lack of cohesive creative vision has ever been one of them.

Really, if this person had to resort to bringing up production info to begin with, are you sure he wasn't struggling to find reasons NOT to watch Goseiger?
