If Planarian and Smilodon are perma dead, it was likely due to the ritual, potentially the survivors will die regardless over time now as well.

I belive it was Olteca who took the Giff stamp during the scuffle, judging by the intro it might end up with Ikki, possibly.

And yeah Giff is very likely not dead, potentially crawling around in the ground for now at least.
