I feel the same way, although ive never seen the show (aside from some clips and here and there on social media), i really like the mecha design, the gimmicks, suits, and the way it handles storytelling from at least what I've heard. Its a shame Hasbro won't be adapting it, but the way the handled a lot of things in DF season 1, sorta glad they won't screw it up. But what comments exactly did the brand manager make?
