MMPR being the "main" one is not surprising to me whatsoever. In Japan, tokusatsu is dime-a-dozen, which makes it easy for individual seasons to become popular - even if they're part of a larger series. In the US, MMPR showed up and became an instant phenomenon, and we got 3 seasons of the Zyuranger suits at the height of its popularity. When they stopped using Zyuranger footage, each season's story and marketing built off what was established in the original Power Rangers. So it makes sense, to me, that somebody trying to sell Power Rangers nostalgia would focus on the most iconic.

That being said, I think they could build the brand out if they gave other teams a chance with their own comic series. I'm just not sure what that would look like. Would they try to adapt something from the same era, with a similar sort of appeal, like Turbo? What would the story be, and how would they separate it from MMPR without being too separate from what the original series was? On the other hand, they could do something like RPM or Operation Overdrive, but how would they get people to care about a seemingly random series like that?

At this point, I'm just kind of throwing out random thoughts. There's a way to do it for sure.
