I think it's clever how their roles are reversed not just physically, but also socially. Like before, Vice tried to stop Ikki from literally drinking poison and getting himself killed, so his caution and suspicion of others is definitely justified. Here, we see the downside of that where Vice's suspicion of George risks getting Ikki killed by inaction, showing that sometimes it's necessary to take a gamble (damn, I miss Hiromi) on someone. Of course, the only reason Ikki acts so sensible in this scenario is the result of his character development from Vice's wisdom. And now that wisdom is being returned to help Vice. It really shows the symbiosis between them, how they can compensate for each other's flaws like that, making them two halves of a whole person. I'm liking Ikki more all the time since his development is actually sticking and since Vice is a big part of that, I'm liking him more as well.

Now Olteca is left without a means of henshining and he generally seems insecure to the point where he feels like he needs to Gifstamp his most loyal follower just to prove how unfettered and superior he is to Aguilera. While George always seems more in control, no matter which side he's on, he finds a way to turn the outcome in his favor.

I recall that black in this show is associated with devils, so I have a hunch that Masumi might be half devil or something, since his mask is half white and half black. He has no problem introducing himself directly, which makes me think the mask is more significant than him wanting to cosplay as Double FangJoker, Two-Face or Monokuma.

Regarding Ikki's and Vice's changing situation, it reminds me of all the crazy stuff that happened to Tommy in Dino Thunder, getting encased in amber, stuck in his suit, turning invisible, before he finally returned to normal.
