There's a thing in there about History Being Written By The Winners that I'm curious if this show will delve into. It's not unusual for tyrants to align themselves with the stories of former national heroes, to make their rise and reign feel contiguous with the country's backstory. That could be fun to see this show grapple with, someone twisting the Heisei Legacy for their own legitimacy.
