And made me come to the realization that these are humanizing moments for characaters so I'd definitly agree with the sentiment here. It seems like this is the reason why cafes were even added to tokusatsu shows, to create a recurring space to hang out with the characters. But I don't think I've really seen them used that way? Continuously? It's just an additional workplace, and that's about it. No one really hangs out and eats at these places?

(Occasionally, sure. Kabuto had some fun stories with food and prep. Kuuga and Pole Pole, maybe. Den-O, a little. Like, stuff here and there, but not recurring.)
