It's the impatience to him, I think, that makes him seem more villainous than Woz. Woz came back to witness history unfold, while Hat Woz is there to create history. It's all in the name of someone else's victory, but it's about twisting the narrative to feature him.

Hat Woz is totally going back to 2068 to tell everyone that he and Geiz are besties, is what I'm getting at.
