5 episodes in, and the characters still don't all know each other's civilian identities.

A refreshing change from recently years trend to just throw everyone in at once in the first episode and go from there.

I like that we are taking time to introduce the characters and the world. The last few years, they keep experimenting with the formula, trying to come up with something fresh, but it just feels the same. Fun, but the same, in spite of the radical ideas.

This is closer to the formula in some ways, but yet feels completely fresh and different.

Hope the show keeps this up. For 40+ episodes, they don't need to rush anything, and I'm glad they aren't.
