Yeah, the best part about his speech is that it's really illuminative for his comedy relief character. Starting the speech off with I Didn't Know How To Be A Dad To You is such a well-observed character detail, you know? It's like, yeah, he knew how to be a wacky uncle, and a goofy old man, but he didn't really know how to be tough with Sougo when he needed it. He thought he was doing the right thing by not pressuring Sougo, but maybe it was the worst thing for him?
