This is a thing I bring up in every Inoue thread, how great he writes the monsters/victims/victim-monsters of the week, but I'm going to just plant my big dumb fan flag and say that Inoue is maybe the best MOTW writer in Heisei Rider. He has the unerring ability to quickly sketch out a compelling story that's thematically looped into the series themes, progressing the overall emotional arc for the recurring cast while still resolving the guest star's hardship. Honestly, he's maybe better at that than any other part of his job?
