Maybe Sougo should be a one-friend guy at this rate, though...

That big exposition dump is absurd how many new holes it opens in the plot all at once, while being about characters I am incapable of caring about beyond wishing they'd go away. It's kinda extra sad because I found the rest of the episode pretty underwhelming!

I haven't revisited the episode since it aired but I don't think there was any notable emotion behind Woz coming back to Sougo's side. There's big climax with four riders vs all the Another Riders, but there's no tension or particularly interesting action, and Sougo overcame Hiryu's power just because.

Also i feel I might as well say because thinking about this episode made this thought come up, but I don't really care for Tsukasa and Kaito in this show? They are ostensibly recurring characters, but it feels to me that show is content with just having them go through their usual iconic motions and lines while acting as plot devices (I guess this is enough for some people but I already mentioned the aspect of the show that's just referencing old shows isn't something I go wild over). As of yet, they feel glorified cameos in that sense, no more integrated into the show than any other Legend Rider appearance despite their number of appearances and new merch.
