I didn't explain myself there very well at all, so to be a bit clearer, it makes me feel differently because:

- I find it silly these comically atypical heroes are so concerned about the etiquette of saying the proper catchphrase even when they're in a big hurry

- I find it silly that the show abruptly introduced the notion there even is a catchphrase for that 11 episodes in when we've seen them undo their transformations with no particular fanfare before

- I find it silly that the show introduces this super tokusatsu-y catchphrase, the kind that usually exists to make an action seem cooler, and then has the visual for it just be the Gears limply flopping out of the DonBlasters with an underwhelming sound effect. <-This one might be the biggest reason I found it funny.

Crucially, I also get the feeling from all of the above that the show was trying to play it as a silly moment. But yeah, I definitely overstated it a bit by acting like that's not a thing any toku hero would or should ever have period. (Although I've always thought "Put On" was sort of silly too, incidentally.) I like the point about this being a thing the kids at home can mimic, by the way! That's a really sweet way to think of it!
