I know they do like to repeat stuff, with everything being based on market testing that makes sense, it's more just the rumour of "two gimmick items, with animal item combo" feels like a more overt than normal repeat, it's less the art and more how the concept of the form and the gimick item system

Ryuki and blade are close, but their cards are thematically different from each other, and some animals will always be popular to kids so it makes sense we get those repeating a lot

but this just sounds like Build's system of doing things 1:1, I'm sure if this does turn out to be true there would be some nuance to differentiate them, but if it's really non-electric gimmick items, where you put two items in the belt at a time, and you do combos between an animal/alive themed item and an item/not-alive themed item, that would just be super funny to me bc of how clear a repeat that would be

Build was a very high earning series financially speaking, so I wouldn't really be shocked if they just wanted to do it again (I've heard rumours that revice is selling badly? I don't know if that's true, but if so them going back to something similar to what sold well in the past makes some sense)

Tangentially related, if they do copy Build personally I'd like to see Muto return as head writer at least (I liked build even tho it does have some issues, but I'd really like to see what Muto could do with a second series now that he has some toku writing experience under his belt)
