Ha ha, I also ordered a Flaming Tiger Key after watching this episode! (I mean, it was alongside the other Progrise Keys that debuted so far; I'm not completely insane.) A little terrified of owning a Key with the power of a hundred exploding bombs, but I'll try and handle it more safely than Aruto.

And, while this episode gives us a bit more Jin than usual (to help with the overall tone of How Do Humagears View Humanity), most of his other appearances have followed the same beats of him gleefully siccing fellow lifeforms on humanity, and that... am I wrong on it feeling a little reminiscent of Parado's early schtick on Ex-Aid? The combination of the performance and his role in the villain hierarchy just totally flagged up Parado in my memory.

I laughed a bit at the whole Punching Kong Is The Only Form That Can Handle The Shotgun concept, when the giant punchers on Kong mean that they can't actually show Vulcan holding the gun. Those mitts do not let him manipulate a trigger or level a firearm!

I'm a little curious if the show's going to dig into the financial ramifications of a nation over-automating its workforce? God knows we don't need to clutter up a sci-fi premise with Taxation Of Trade Routes-level boredom, but when you've got Humagears that can handle full-on creative work... unless these things cost a billion yen, any business would be stupid not to switch to an all-Humagear workforce, which is basically as dystopian an outcome as I can imagine. You're talking about catastrophic wealth redistribution, completely wiping out all but the Top 1%, who now no longer have customers with any income. The end result of that would either create a post-capitalist utopia, or full-on societal collapse.
