I’ll start by mentioning that Shinya Oowada isn’t a character created for this episode. He’s an actual person in real life. And he’s been in Tokusatsu before (as the villain of Shinkenger’s summer movie, who I remember more for having a prehensile dick more than anything else. Godammnit Kobayashi)

But a guy who they did make up for the episode is the actor Humagear Enji. (Which is a subtle pun. In Japan, “NG” is a derogatory nickname for a bad actor) He’s played by Hiromi Sakamoto, who most Rider fans probably know best as Kouta’s ill fated mentor Yuya from Gaim. Sentai/Metal Heroes fans know him as the bad guy Mad Gallant from Gavan vs Dekaranger.

And Fuwa gets a new Progrisekey purely to show it exists (Behind the scenes, it was a promotional item for people who preordered tickets to Reiwa: The First Generation). But that didn’t stop Bandai from applying its usual flourishes.
