Pretty much where I'm at right now, too? While I was watching it, I couldn't stop thinking about that photo booth gag from Orb, or the Z/Sevenger teamup in Z -- stuff that made me actively go "this is a really fresh spin on an Ultraman premiere!" It's something I feel like New Generation shows have always been great at, with even Trigger's debut feeling pretty distinct stylistically, and Decker didn't quite have that.

The tradeoff, then, is that we're also dealing with a first episode that basically commits no missteps whatsoever, though, so I'd feel bad if it sounds like I'm picking on it at all. Decker certainly seems like it'll be a great time as usual!
