I'm willing to believe that Hiromi's transformation in the next episode is a fluke, after that all the health concerns for him, Dear Gaga reestablishing/recontextualizing what it means to be a hero to him (at least I think so, we haven't seen that 2nd half yet), and just how well he clicks into the support role, it'd feel like a step back.
