There are two main things I disliked about this episode.

As this show is called Kamen Rider Revice, I was hoping to get some focus for our protagonists. Unfortunately, their focus now is entirely entangled in the memory loss contract, which I think is the most contrived plot device in the show. Vice mentioned that their contract can't be renegotiated, but like, why? Why are we just supposed to accept that? Kagerou's saying that Ikki knew the risks, but like, he was a kid who was about to die in a burning building. Pretty sure that's coerced consent. The whole contract is dumb and if that's the stake of the final arc, then I have pretty much no investment.

George as the potential final villain.... I don't understand his motivation at all. Even if the movie clears that up, like, it's still something that should've been in the show. Sure, he's more enjoyable than Akaishi and Gif, but where those dudes were a threat to humanity, George is mostly a threat to the Igarashis. And he won't even explain why. The scope of that is way too small for what's supposed to be a final arc and I feel like this is something more appropriate for a dramatic V-Cinema epilogue.

I don't think the show is that overhyped. Based on my observations here and on other social media sites, it actually has a lot of critics. Personally, I don't hate Hikaru ("overdemon guy"), he's just meh, regardless of his contribution to the story. While I'm definitely part of the Julio/Tamaki fanbase, I will agree that his big moment could've come much earlier, it's regrettable that he had to share his debut with Not-So-Invincible Jeanne (cause Juuga just defeated her) and now he got his Driver taken in this episode.

And yeah, George is super awful and weird as the "final" boss. Really dumb choice.

Even George at his worst is better than Kougane at his best.
