The most annoying thing is that George can literally be replaced by anyone else: papa, Hiromi, Daiji (although then the poor fellow would definitely have won the title of the most hated character on the show) and the reaction would be the same: "What the hell?". Honestly since Otelca's "death" always felt so abrupt when it happened that might've been the ONLY way this plot might've worked without geeling like "uhhh did they run out of plot and give up with less than a month left(more like after Thunder Gale's debut tbfh)" also on that note the Memory loss plot might be one of the worstly handled rider plots in a while it's mentioned in the beginning is a plot point and other than the ocasisonal "Hey this is a thing" is not mentioned AT ALL
