It's guarantied (in my opinion) to be a role reversal, Vice (as the MC's non-human companion) will be the one that losses all his memories, and then Ikki and will spend the rest of his days helping Vice make new ones. It's a cliche been done tons of times in other stories.

Sadly while I'm excited for next week (wait me being excited for next week for the first time since Thunder Gale debuted what is this)it's also hard for me to not think this is how it ends
