Which is the whole point, now that I think about it, since the final conflict in this show is now all about Vice's bond with Ikki being sacrificed so that Ikki can be with his family. But honestly, I liked seeing the two of them so much in this episode, maybe I'm rooting for Ikki to just leave his old life at the bathhouse behind after all and embrace his new life with his demon

Especially after the Igarashis are willing to kill Vice, someone they know Ikki sees as family, even if it happens with Vice's permission.
That is kinda Ikki's call to make, not any of yours. You all should be ashamed!

Also, Ikki? How did you fall for this basic lie? I thought you trusted Vice? You really shouldn't fall for this at all!

Seriously, I'm not invested in this cast, but this whole situation kinda makes my blood boil. I can't wait till this show is over.
