I find it funny how much core background for Aruto that the show just never establishes. What happened to his biological parents? Why did his Grandad build him a robot dad? What happened after the robot dad was destroyed? Why didn't Grandad Hiden take any role whatsoever in raising Aruto? There's just this blank space between Daybreak Town and the first episode, and it's insane that the show never found a single minute to try and fill that blank in.

And the fact that he and his grandpa are never on-screen together. Like they photoshop a picture of him with Gai but we never actually see these two together.

A part of me kind of wishes the "visitor" that gave Aruto Realize Hopper was actually Grandpa Hiden instead of Soreo.
