Of course, Vice would be the key to Ikki's memories. Of course, they set up the fight to hopefully restore them.
I'll fully admit, this is a great idea. It leads us to break up the main characters for a final farewell, and it certainly has the stakes for a season about family and making peace with your demons.
But ultimately, Revice was a little too clunky to justify this moment. Which is a real shame, since Revice had one of my favorite debuts. I like the idea they were going for, but I just feel like it's too little too late, much like with George becoming Jyuuga (remember that?).
I'll save final thoughts for the final episode, but it probably won't be enough to put this one over Saber and Zero-one as far as Reiwa is concerned.
Final Episode: Just Revice.
Again it's cbecoming more obvious by the day that Revice was supposed to be an around 35 episode long show (or it seriously feels like the plot was supposed to be such) forcefully padded to be 15 episodes longer than it needed to be like this show IMO had a LOT of good ideas but failed to execute most if not all of them (the Genta plot being the one exception) (And drink everytime they just made Vice look suspicious for an episodes length or Daiji be the dumbest character in the franchise has seen in quite a while for an episode, when the writers didn't know what to do)(on one hand I get that these are merchandise driven shows and there's not much that could be done about the episode length when the goal is to sell a year's worth of Merch(And Revice isn't the first Rider show I've seen to have this problem (Ex-Aid and Build each imo had episodes that felt like they purely existed so they didn't get ahead of the toy release schedule)), but I also view the writers as failing by writing what it feels like the beginning and end of the story but neglecting to write the middle until they HAD too)
