Yeah, actually. It made MMPR feel like more than just a Sentai adaptation. Having old characters with new Zords is fine by me. They'll probably just be straight replacements rather than evolutions like in MMPR. Assuming there's some logic in the show's writing I don't see what's wrong with the old cast moving on to a new series. That was more or less what PR did up until Lost Galaxy.

Old characters is one thing.

Zyuranger suits which summon Ryuuseioh and Dairenoh with the main five Dairanger excised is something else entirely, with dinosaurs and prehistoric animals becoming mythological animals without rhyme or reason.
