For every westerner I've seen that felt Haruto was bland, I've read translated posts from Japanese fans that loved the character and felt he was charismatic and cool.

Yeah, I kind of saw an inverse with Revice, it seems like the west was kind of eh on Revice, but Japan and Asia like turbo hated it.
