I think the only thing that differentiates Showa-era KR and SS movies from the shows are the film stock they used. I'm pretty sure they shot the movies on 35mm film (while the shows were shot on 16mm film). Some of the HD transfers from that era's movies are freaking gorgeous.

But anyway...

KR Black on BluRay!? I'm shocked and amazed. This might be a purchase for me... which is saying something, as I can't remember the last time I bought anything on disc. I'm not even sure I still have a working BluRay player.
