It's almost exhausting, the second half of this episode. I like Rintaro a lot, and his chemistry with Touma is appealing, but the entire back half feels like a Rider checklist: bikes, form change, finishers, collectibles. It's all done with so little elegance, too, like the CG biking sequences and forgettable adversaries are all the specificity this story needed. I disagree!

Thanks! I'm still not at a point where I feel like thinking too much about the inner lives of our cast, so it's another tangent about nonsense. I liked trying to work with a more melancholy tone, though. Fun time writing this one.

Thank you for the warning! I guess I'm a little less glad that I don't care about these collectibles than I was before, though. I was all jazzed about saving money (compared to the Sting Dystopia that hit my bank account during Zero-One), but now I've got a large amount of toy commercials to look forward to... for toys I don't want. Hooray?
