I’d like to say that I really like the ending of Donbrothers as it stands, and I am a little bit worried that the movies could only mess it up. I read someone speculate the movie could be showing the alternate future that Shiina Naoki came from. This could be a pretty good idea that could let the donbrothers appear in a movie and also not alter the (imho) perfect ending of the show.

I am pretty satisfied with the ending of Donbrothers and with what happened to Momoi Taro. I think it pretty much implies that something similar happened to Kaito. I don’t really need it explained any more than that. But that’s just my preference.
