"Obnoxious obsession"?! I think Sara is just an enthusiastic fan who wishes the best for Neon's welfare and honestly supports her, nothing wrong with that. Rather, Keiwa is the cynical bitter one for complaining about Sara enjoying her videos. Neon has always been more sure of what she wants than Keiwa, who's probably jealous of her for that.

Nice observation! That's some cool detail for sure. Yeah, I think Kousei granted his desire for a replacement daughter out of grief and now he just feels guilty that he can't feel the same love for Neon that he felt for Akari. Could this mean that bringing back the dead is denied by DGP, even though Keiwa's Desire Card was accepted? It seems that Kousei was forced to keep his memories of Akari's existence, due to his deal with Niram requiring him to remember why he made the deal, whereas Irumi's memories were altered to fit the new world where Neon was always her daughter.

Same here. I only saw some cryptic talk of Neon being Akari in the news and rumors thread and I was like, "Neon is who-kari?"

You know, I don't think she's the only case of this happening in the DGP. It's been running for millennia and with how much war and illness there was in the past, I imagine it would've been a fairly common desire. Which makes me wonder just how much of the world is natural and how much is the result of all these Desire Gods' worlds snowballing together.

Of course, I will continue to give my support to Neon to grant her desire for true love. The way I see it, even if she's a replacement "fake human" created by the Goddess, the fact that she even has a desire she's willing to risk her life for makes her real. All those fans who turned on her and bullied her should ask themselves who's really fake!
