I found this episode to just be... "Eh." Hiromi's' stuff was solid enough on paper, but due to the way Revice has gone so far, I barely know the guy and thus didn't feel too strongly about it. As well, if this episode was trying to have any sort of point or message, then it's incredibly nonsensical in its presentation. That said, I will happily take a father who fights for the life of his son out of blind devotion over Ayaka's' mom, who was the polar opposite, anyday.

No Line Texts this time, as all of them are actually combat focused. They all basically amount to "Boy this guy sure is fast! Hope this form we're going into can help!" However, this is an Anniversary thread, as well as the end of an era for Die threads, as such, I felt it only fitting to bring back a gimmick I did for the previous Anniversary, that being Zi-O.



This episode is the debut of the Ex-Aid Stamp, and as such I must highlight my favorite Ex-Aid character: The Emu-sexual himself, Parado!

Ex-Aid as a show is one that I felt had alot of problems, and while Parado was by no means unaffected by them, his presence was always one that I felt a total delight in. From his funny antics in the background, to his duality with Emu, and his Kikaider color scheme when transformed, the guy had alot of aspects to him that really just appeal to my personal tastes alot. Sure, his arc had alot of neat ideas where the execution part was either fumbled or forgotten about, but I just found him to be very enjoyable and one of the better characters in the show regardless. At the very least, he was never boring.
