It's the best! She's the best! Literally any time this show can generate a story out of the Igarashi family dynamic in its entirety, I'm gonna dig it. I never even got to talk about Sakura's surely-unfounded fear that she might have a demon inside her, so she's even more motivated than Ikki to make sure Daiji still has a place in the family! The family is the best part of this show.

I mean, DreamSword-esque controversial hot take: I might be the only person who's more of a fan of Daiji than Kagerou? I love how Daiji's denial of his own jealousy and rage spawned Kagerou, and now he's denying that he spawned Kagerou. I am super dialed into this show's expression of our failings as ever-present, and something we manage instead of defeating. Daiji's way more fun to dig into than Kagerou!
