Had the misfortune of watching the Geats x Revice movie. Pretty much a total miss for me.

Mainly, I think I'd rather they just left the Ryuki stuff out of it entirely. I get why they thought it'd be a fun little thing to have them in a Geats thing, but their part in this movie was almost insultingly superfluous. Just absolutely nothing going on there story-wise. The kind of roles you'd usually see filled by a recycled Shocker monster or stuff of that level.

The plot and the antagonists overall are just so bare-bones and worthless. Not any fun to watch, no interesting twists or ideas. Some of the most going-through-the-motions movie fare I've seen, which is really saying something.

About the only things I can say I liked is, the old Riders using the Rider system of the new show is fun, and it was nice to see the original Glare suit again instead of the uggo 2 repaint. Maybe one or two good character interactions in there (liked Ace honing in on the Igarashi's appreciation for family and Ikki's desire to retain his memories).

I don't know what I'm expecting every time I go into one of these crossover films. I didn't especially love the last couple I watched, but man did this one feel particularly disposable.
