Figure-Rise Kamen Rider Blade and Wizard are complete.





Blade is nice and detailed with great parts separation and minimal stickers. This is probably one of the best renditions of the Blade suit as the Figuart is woefully out of date. Most of the paint I did for this figure was smaller details and a grey wash over the silver parts to make them look a little more used.

Wizard is a gorgeous looking figure but perhaps the most difficult FRS kit to date. All the gems require foil stickers over faceted parts recessed into cavities. So many stickers that go onto curved surfaces and intricate details on the belt and armor if you choose to paint.

The red stickers that go underneath the robe are very interesting as they are made from a type of vinyl which is much stretchier than the typical paper stickers. This stuff is a nightmare to apply and Bandai must have known because large portions of the stickers are meant to layer on top of each other. Luckily, if you wrinkle the stickers or mess up a little, it will be hard to see and honestly looks fine as it's meant to look like cloth. In the end it gets the job done.

So there we are. With the release of Drive around the corner, we only have 2 more Heisei riders to complete the set, both of which I'm extremely excited for.
