However, I enjoy the cute friendship between Houtarou and Rinne much more. In the previous episode, Houtarou sadly felt that Rinne had more merit than him, but here Rinne actually shows her appreciation for him saving her. I think they've both developed a lot so far and look forward to seeing more of their dynamic.

I find it difficult to call Spanner and Rinne a relationship, because his interest is quite one-sided. She clearly likes Hotaro more, at least as a friend. But speaking of the couples in this show, HotHop is Top!
