It seems that many people also think only mocking someone/something without suggesting advice is a valid move to push others to be better. Such as people mocking "useless" characters being waste of space. For some reason, constructive criticism like advice would be sugarcoating... relentless mocking would be a better push for improvement or such, which is how people being awful can be justified.

Yet you show bleak view of humanity if it's regarding Geats, that humans being selfish and destructive or life being unfair (e.g. give and take) should be accepted and excused as cold fact in life rather than trying hard enough to achieve something better and reach more ideal possibilities.
