Yeah, I don't expect Hasegawa and Uchida to know anything about alchemy IRL, but as long as their sci-fi rules stay fairly consistent, then I can continue to suspend my disbelief and enjoy the intriguing character drama.

Agreed. I disliked the design of Kamen Rider Chaser due to how different and plain it looked in contrast to Machine Chaser. So I appreciate how Kamen Rider Valvarad looks more like what I'd imagined him to look like. The pink/silver color scheme is familiar and only the appearance is more heroic now.
