Dang, this did not hit for me at all, and now I'm remembering why I only remembered the Akiko W part as vividly as I do. Pretty sauceless as far as like Dopant Plots go tbh.

Even checking up on the Sonozaki's was kind of a waste this time for me because, man, I really do not care for the stuff they're doing with Wakana. Not to mention Isaka, while a powerful Dopant, really just only has that going for him, there's nothing that's really hitting me about him other than waiting for Terui's inevitable runback against him.

Surprisingly I was actually fine with the Xtreme Memory stuff, considering what's coming up it's nice to see that they're at least sliding it in advance. Shroud continues to be amusingly mysterious and obtuse. And tbh I wouldn't say the problem is Xtreme itself in resolving the cliffhanger but deciding to make the cliffhanger like that in the first place.

There was really no reason for Isaka to just randomly show up since there was no real indication of him planning on showing up (searching for Nightmare) prior. Plus I have to question our detective agency's smarts given they just decided to leave both W and an unconscious Philip in the middle of an open field.
