[Pokemate91]

I really really liked this episode! of course, it has some issues, but for the most part I really enjoyed it!

I wasn't a big fan of king-ohger. I understand why people liked it, but it just wasn't my thing. It was definitely an issue with the visuals, as the constant CGI backgrounds were kind of distracting. I'm so happy that we're back to form with actual locations and sets!

The highlight of the episode for me was definitely the pink ranger. She just has an energy to her that I ADORE. Her decision to "Take the wheel" and "Deliver myself to where I think I belong" is such a great moment, and it really cemented her as a favorite for this episode. She very clearly is excited about being a ranger, and I really like seeing her get so excited when the others start the roll call.

The red ranger is cool, he's definitely calmer than I thought he would be, but it works in his favor. After so many red rangers who are loud and a *little* obnoxious, it's nice to see someone who, while still having style and a personality, is a bit more reserved and calm. He still has the confidence of most red rangers, just a different kind.

Blue is okay. I haven't formed much of an opinion on him yet, but having one of the main rangers taking the role of "The guy in the chair" is pretty cool.

I LOVE the robo for this season. It has a nimbleness to it (Probably because its supposed to be a living being) that alot of other robots don't have! I like how, while its still a bit bulky like other robos, it definitely is more streamlined, and it feels much more like a giant ranger, rather than a mech, if that makes sense.

Of course, it's not all great. I feel like there are some pretty fundamental things that just aren't explained, such as explanations of any sort of powers and the mecha. of course, i'm sure it will be explained within the next few episodes, but I felt a bit out of the loop when it came to the general ideas.

I'm so excited to see where this story goes, and I can't wait for the next episode!
