I'm thinking I'll stick with my initial picks, though I might swap Donbrothers for Zenkaiger if I'm in the mood for something funnier (I believe people often consider it Carranger-esque). Definitely keeping all the other suggestions in mind for later though!

I always bring this up but the line at the start of the intro before they cue the theme song really sells the overall premise of Liveman I think. And keep in mind before Gorenger and JAKQ were officially accepted as the first two shows of the series this was the 10th milestone show at one point, and they kinda went the extra mile with their casting as well, having two known recording artists, Daisuke Shima and Megumi Mori as the red ranger and blue ranger respectively, Kikaider and Battle Cossack II actor Daisuke Ban, two Flashman alumni, Leh Wanda actor Yutaka Hirose and Sir Cowler actor and current prolific voice actor Joji Nakata. Hirose did some voice acting too, such as an ally robot that transforms into a sword in Dagwon, but he seems to have retired for now and works as a drone pilot for filming stuff instead these days.
