Easily the best episode of the show so far, continuing Jou's development from before. However, I should mention that Yamaguchi Hiroshi is the one writing this, which means we can't call this an accurate sample of the show's overall quality. I mean that as a compliment to him, especially since he's new to Sentai, but if he carries too much, then it may become like Saber where all the praise went to Hasegawa and Uchida.

Humorous how the conflict is that Taiya doesn't approve of Jou joining the team and yet it's resolved by Genba just showing up out of nowhere to deliver the Boonboom Change Axe to Jou. Nevertheless, Jou did earn it, as well as Taiya's approval and admiration of him as a serious policeman of justice, similar to Asaka Keiichirou. Turns out Jou wasn't actually conscious of his true sense of justice, only thinking he wanted to be cool, but it was always there deep down as he offered to throw the dart in place of a would-be victim. He learned a valuable moral that you need to be heroic to be cool, not the other way around. Even Taiya has a good line about them knowing their fight would be dangerous, finally acknowledging the stakes.

Awesome debut for Bun Black! While the others take care of the Nejirettas, he puts his tough police training to good use and manages to defeat Darts Auto all by himself. The whole junkyard action scene was enjoyable to watch with the choreography and use of environmental props.

Why is everybody only aiming for the bullseye though, even though the triple 20 is worth more points?
