I bsically agree with this - you hit the last 5-6 episodes and suddenly aliens have been speaking to Gamou and Yuki all along and we're going to meet them. I get Nadeshiko was here for the movie, but it was weird then! And it's weird no-one has pointed out we've already met aliens in that case! And it's handled very inelegantly, with Kengo and Hayami basically dumping the info on us at the start of an episode before all the fight scenes kick off. Kengo going away to meet his makers is something you could easily build a whole 2-parter around, espacially the little glimpses we get of his and Yuki's friendship before Gentatou showed up, but its revealed right as we hit the finale so it has to be bundled up with everything else.
